We founded Sustain Our
Spaces to provide needed services to empower individuals to
intervene in emotional and environmental crisis. Our initiatives
promote personal and environmental healing through the application
of art therapy and the exploration and practical application of
sustainable living.
We are located in eastern Kansas, available and working to provide service to people in Douglas, Johnson, Jefferson, and Shawnee counties. Our primary goal is to decrease chemical dependency, mental illness, isolation, and violence by increasing resources and skills for sustainable living through education and/or practical application of art, organic gardening, alternative building methods and transportation, composting, water conservation, recycling/reusing, passive solar, bioremediation and phytoremediation.
